I have been wanting and wanting to do this. So my amazing husband said yes and last minute we found a cozy little cabin and off we went - I took my family on quite the adventure. Fall here is beautiful! It is different. It's still green. Leaves change but are decorated with moss like the picture up above. My camera had some issues - especially when we hiked up to Blue Lake but hopefully you can still get the idea of how incredible it all was. It was quite the accomplishment making it up to Blue Lake. It was two miles up and two miles back but the elevation gain was more than anticipated. We ended up sitting in a light snow fall singing Jingle Bells at the top. A memory I will never forget! There was more driving than we would have liked. We didn't get to do all we had planned. We were exhausted! But we had a wonderful time and will definitely make it back up there!
