We made it out to the ocean! This was our first outing with the five of us . . overnight i guess I should say. It was different but in a good way - I didn't get to take as many pictures. That was hard but I need to learn more patience anyway. Matt actually took probably half of these - his pictures are my favorite! We could have watched the waves all day except maybe the girls but I think only because it was cold and they got hungry. We fixed the hunger thing but it has gotten chilly up here and the coast is no exception to this!Below is Ruby Beach - I have never seen anything like it! It was amazing! We were sad to miss low tide and it was a little grey but it only gives more incentive to plan another trip out there! It was still beautiful and we still had a wonderful time! Matt got to enjoy blue hour with my camera (I may have been a little jealous?) I love the pictures he got! Blue hour is the hour after the sun goes down. All the pictures you take get a blueish tint to the them? It is gorgeous! Can you tell which ones were taken then? The rain forest was nothing like I expected but more beautiful than I could have imagined! I loved that it was full of pines!!! And people pretty much live there! The pictures below of the fences and homes up against the mountain? If you could transplant extended family there that would be my dream home - my heaven on earth! Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we enjoyed visiting these places. I read an article in which Laura Bush (Pres Bush's wife) called the Olympic National Forest the best kept secret and I would definitely have to agree!

Completely beautiful!
I find myself feeling worried that I put too many pictures on here but then I remember that I started this just for me - kind of a photography journal so I put them all up. Fall here has been amazing and most memorable what with our own Autumn joining our family she is as beautiful as the colors up here and the wonderful weather! Most of these are at Nisqually. It is a favorite place for our family. And the last few are from here on post at the hospital and out our bedroom window this morning. Last night was rough and I am exhausted. I woke up feeling overwhelmed and already behind. I think God sent this sunrise just to remind me life is beautiful and He knows I am there

I LOVE fall! Autumn (our newest daughter) got her name from the joy that the season brings our family and all the memories it holds. We love her and we love this time of year! WA has the most amazing fall colors! I miss Utah so much this time of year but I feel a loving Heavenly Father made the colors up here extra bright for me this year. Also I must say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE our neighborhood! It is completely beautiful! (especially right now) and we made it up to Mt Rainier one last time before many of the roads close. It of course was stunning as always! Hope you enjoy the pictures!
